Lisa Rono was born in Medford, Oregon in 1987. Music has always been an integral art of her life, especially singing. She was trained in classical piano from a young age and studied saxophone from the age of 11 through college. She began playing guitar and writing her own songs in college. Her influences include artists and songs from many genres: jazz, country, gospel, and singer/songwriter.
